New England's National Historic Landmarks: Vermont


The National Register of Historic Places contains more than 85,000 sites, but only some 2,500 of them have been listed as National Historic Landmarks. New England is home to hundreds of these particularly significant structures, objects and places.

Calvin Coolidge Homestead District, Plymouth Notch

The Calvin Coolidge Homestead District includes a childhood home of the thirtieth president of the United States, where Coolidge later took the presidential oath of office. Coolidge (1872-1933) lived there from 1876 to 1887.
