I'm so out of it, I don't know where "it" is

Every once in a while, I am floored by the realization that I'm so far out of the loop it's a wonder I haven't drifted into space and sailed beyond Earth's gravitational pull.

When I went online this morning, I spotted a headline that read: "Twain writes letter about engagement." Wow, I said to myself, somebody has discovered a previously unknown letter from Mark Twain, written before he got married.
