New England's National Historic Landmarks: New Hampshire


The National Register of Historic Places contains more than 85,000 sites, but only some 2,500 of them have been listed as National Historic Landmarks. New England is home to hundreds of these particularly significant structures, objects and places.

NEW HAMPSHIRE
Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site, Cornish

Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site preserves the home, gardens, and studios of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This was his summer residence from 1885 to 1897 and his permanent home from 1900 until his death in 1907.
